Thank you.
We ended up buying a 5gallon tank and 8 guppies along with the filters and things. This is getting to be an expensive field trip.
Now I am thinking about getting a 20 gallon tank to go with the 5 gallon and then find a few female guppies to show my son about how they reproduce.
This could be a very large project by the time I am finished.

For common Goldfish you need at least 20 gallons per fish they get very big and are very messy. And we all started out with one tank but its never enough thats why most of us have several. LOL

Kindest Regards,
Amanda

Keeping fish its not a hobby it is a passion!

55 gallon, 44 gallon, one 20 gallon tank, three 10 gallon tanks, and a 2.5 gallon all with real plants.

I have MTS and there is no cure.

Sorry to say but that is not true. I have owned 5 goldfish and they were not dirty at all. They digest food very quickly, some even say "they don't have a stomach" which is not true their stomach processes faster then most fish. If you keep them on a feeding schedule then they are not dirty at all. Some people hear they dont have stomaches so they over feed them, and that produces more waste. Goldfish are great fish to own, just remember they need space and a good feeding schedule.

All I meant was that they poo alot just like plecos. I also had goldfish for about 10 years and fed them once every other day and they still pooed a lot.

Kindest Regards,
Amanda
