Yes, the knight goby will eventually be in very poor health if not kept in a brackish water environment. If it's eating blood worms that's a good sign, but it still should really have brackish water. The zig zag eel is definitely not a weather loach; in fact, weather loach is another common name for your dojo loach. Most kissing fish seen in the hobby are pink kissing gouramis, but I guess it could be something else. Gold fish technically should not be housed with tropical fish, as they require a colder temperature water then the rest of your fish. As much as your goby should have salt, DO NOT add salt to your community aquarium because your other fish will not tolerate it well. Ideally, setting the goby up his own tank is what's best. It honestly sounds like your local fish store need to brush up on their nomenclature!
