Updated on my 28g tank

I did some changes for my old tank.

Old look ^

Bought some dwarf hairgrass and HC but HC were dead already (worst smell ever!)

Its not the greatest driftwood but thats all I could find, Rocks on top of the driftwood are just to anchor it so will get rid of it asap.

Flamemoss, Javamoss, Riccia on rocks and HG.
30W Daylight CFL and DIY CO2.
PS:I'll be taking pics every weekend to see the progress.
Also a black? background wallpaper to cover the tubes and the bottles.
any suggestions for the color would be appreciated.

28G Tank Planted : 8 Neon tetra, 1 Paradise fish, 2Upside down cat, 2 Cory Cats, 1 Rainbow Shark

That's a good start, will look forward to the progress photos. For the background, I would suggest plain black; the fish and plant colours will really look nice against black, and it will add depth too. Nothing shiny or it will do the opposite and detract.

Something we all need to remember: The fish you've acquired was quite happy not being owned by you, minding its own business. If you’re going to take it under your wing then you’re responsible for it. Every aspect of its life is under your control, from water quality and temperature to swimming space. [Nathan Hill in PFK]
