Tank fully planted now (I think) added some anubias, Rotella indica, Anacharis (sp?) took out the dragonflame as it died very shortly after planting. Also added 4 Praecox Rainbows, and 2 Honey Gouramis.
It's an Elite Hush 35, which I wouldn't have used if I had to do it all over again. I would go with an Aquaclear.musho3210 said:lovely tank, what filter are you using? Is it top fin?

Thanks! I just hope that everything grows as well as my Alternanthera Reineckii (that stuff is growing really fast). The two varieties of Anubias (coffeefolia and nana) were put in this past week to replace the nasty dragonflame that "melted" and to help stem the slight Algae growth that started to occur.flatcam1 said:MAN! you have really done a good job at aquascaping that tank :shock2:
I have been thinking about it, but I am not sure if it's a good idea since I am fully established with my bacteria. How long are planning on floating the media?Matt said:Same Here, I Just took Mine Back though...ttiger72 said:It's an Elite Hush 35, which I wouldn't have used if I had to do it all over again. My LFS, they have a really good selection and really nice quality. It's a place called Aquarium Adventures, and will special order just about any fish you can find. It's a great place, 60% freshwater and 40% saltwater as well as plants and corals.Matt said:Hey by the way... Where did you Get your Plants?
Thats awesome, I wish my Lfs did that......hhmmm...ttiger72 said:My LFS, they have a really good selection and really nice quality. I have a Current Satellite like this one with a Coralife 6700K 65W bulb.Brandon said:Wow thats awsome what light do you have on there!
Thanks for the info. My substrate is fairly large, not typical gravel so would I have to pull it out still? Seems to be doing well. Most stones are about 1/4-1/3 wide.Aquaticmoon said:Nice tank , but may I make a few suggestion. The Anubias barteri is planted to deep, and needs to be pulled up a little out of the substrate.
Micro Echinodorus would grow faster if you spread them out. And the plant in the middle background (one one with the purple leaves) is non aquatic and will soon die.
