I went in to replace the cory and came out with many more fishys. Lol
I am unsure on putting the gourami in the QT since she'd be all alone.

You will need a good balance of female to get the males to display their colours. The colours are to show off to the females, after all. :)

Yeah. WetSpot had responded to my email and said it is 1 male for every 3 females. I expected it'd be like that. So in 10, I'd have only 2 males :P

Oh well, atleast the Rosy Barbs immediately appealed to me and they'll look very nice in the show tank....if they survive QT.

New leaf on my baby ruffled sword
Hoping to bring this sword back to life. If it stays small like it did, I'll be selling it.

These little Rosy Barbs are cute to watch as well. They're speedy little things. Remind me a little like my youngerself. With ADHD, I was twitchy, speedy and easily spooked.

They've warmed up to some Zucchini and watching them eat it is hilarious. They take the fast nibbles I've seen. And if one of their own or the slice touches them or part of a plant, they go into a mini freak out and swim away. lol

The Cories have warmed up to eating the Zucchini as well.

I managed to get this little sword really "fluffy". It just grew leaves. Lost maybe a leaf each week. But grew 2-3 leaves every week. It just never got taller. It remained pretty small. So I moved it to a betta tank to be more appreciated. But it slowly died away.

I had hoped to make it into a nice center piece at the time. Well, the tiger lotus took that place ;)

Had that happen to a red Rubin sword. It even shot off two runners, but stayed like 6-7" tall. Thought my tank was maybe too tall and it wasn't getting enough light (though you think that'd mean taller growth. Put in my 20long and it stayed the same.

Not a very good background plant LOL
