in my opinion long tanks are far better than tall tanks because you can keep a larger variety of fish and plants do better because of the shorter distance the light needs to penetrate through the water

its a half a inch of water and you think your gunna drown

Longer tanks are also easier to clean/decorate I have to stand in a chair and lean of to do anything to my 44 gallon corner tank.
