The fish at the left side in red color with a black triangle is a harlequin rasbora(rasbora heteromorpha).
Harlies are mistaken by beginners for "tetras", but they are actually rasboras.
Tetras=characins(family)
Rasboras=cyprinids(family)

If you're unsure of which one I'm referring to as harlequin rasbora, this pic will show you that.

This pic shows a Diamond Tetra(Moenkhausia pittieri).

Nice tank! I love how you made the plant grow into the rock
You should get a background for your tank :)

Awesome tank! I also have a silver shark. Your's are so wide and fatter than mine! Mine is more skinnier...weird. But like the tank and the fishy's. All looks good.
thats one big silver dollar.....How big are your silver/bala sharks? What about the clown loach...

Do you have any sort of pleco

um i'll answer these questions as best as i can...

i only have 1 loach cos it was given to me by a friend and that's all i have at the moment... didn't buy anymore cos my silver dollar is getting a little aggressive so i'm just leaving them at the moment cos all the fish have worked out their pecking order.

the silver dollar is probably about 10-12 cm big (about 4/5 fully grown)
the loach would be around 8 - 10 cm big
and the sharks...
2 of them would be close to 12 or so cm in length (had them for a while now)
and there are 3 smaller one approx 8 or 9 cm

not sure on what the plant is... sorry

I am pretty sure if u've only got 1 bala shark that they tend not to live long enough to get HEAPS big (i saw one in a shop a little while ago that would've been close to 15-16 cm).
They are a schooling fish so if you have two or three the tend to eat much more.

i'm still coaxing my lancer out of its little cave for long enough to catch a clear photo

here is a very blurry pic of it's head..... SORRY!

Hi Bret,
I can't identify your "black lancer" due to blurry pic but we'll gladly wait until you get a clearer pic.:D
