Random. Best way to describe it would be salt grains sprinkled on them.

I caught it fairly early, only a few fish had it and only a handful of spots on each.

The rasboras already look better, the Diamond Tetras not so much. Strangely, the only diamonds to get them were the females.

I didn't see any on the angels, cory's, plecos, or otos.

That's odd about the females, wonder what that's all about. Hmm? Fish are weird! Glad to hear some are already recovering, and that others never affected - I knew you'd rock this nasty right outta that tank in record time! *cheers for Geo's mad fishy skills*

They were in QT, just not long enough. Of course, it could have been the new plants I guess, I didn't QT them.

Regardless, the week has passed so the heaters are set back to normal and a 50% water change has been done.

The snail population crashed, empty shells litter the place everywhere but it looks like some are still alive. I'm sure they'll be back in force in no time.

The floating plants also took a hit, mostly the duckweed (oh darn....). Don't know if it was the temperature or the copper that did them in.

As for the fish we're spot free, and have been for awhile, but all didn't go 100% well. One of the Julii Corys died. It didn't have any spots on it, so it must of been something else and the stress of the temp and meds did it in :(

Awww... bugger that you lost one, but I'm really happy that you've made it through and everything is looking up again! What a relief!
