say hi to my new Volitan Lionfish

i was told this is 100% a dwarf and not a volitan.guess what after getting it settled in the tank i found out it's a volitan.i should have trusted myself instead of listening to the staff.the thing is he took out a card book of the fishes and their requirements told me it was a dwarf how big it will get and yet he made a wrong assesment on it's type.look like this is going to stay with me then.oh well

btw my new 150 gallon tank arrived 2 days ago and boy is it huge

Looks like a very young black volitan. As he grows, an your smaller fish start to come up missing...you'll know. Very beautiful fish no matter.

i'm not worried of small fishes going missing but the size of tank he needs i heard they grow quite large and fast so setting up a tank now and let it cycle fisheless for a few months does seem like a good idea since it is now housed in a rather small 2 footer
