he does get excited,because all the guppys
rush to the front because they think they are getting fed,
so they all rush around in front of him. :)

when you set up a new tank,hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor,that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.

I notice you have 2 shells in the tank. Are they real shells? If so, have you checked the pH in your tank? Real shells release calcium, which increases the pH in water.

Yes they are real shells. Regular testing is done and have had no problems. :)

It's gorgeous :) fishkeeping is such a rewarding and addictive hobby, nice to know your daughter is into it also. Keep up the good work!

You know what the definition of hobby is: something of interest that is going to cost you lots of money!
