Rainbowfish I.D. wanted

I have decided to start collecting rainbowfish in my 75 gallon (which has a 35 gallon sump), cause I am just tired of my angels turning on each other once they get full grown!

So far I have a pair of Bosemani and a pair of Tourquoise.
I went to a little mom & pop fish store this weekend and found a pair of what I think to be checkered rainbows, but as they are still young I am not 100% sure yet. In the first picture it is by itself. In the second picture you see it hovering over one of my tourquoise.

Can anyone confirm my thinking or give me a better idea?

Good luck with IDing it Melanotaeniidae and Pseudomugilidae

A lot of the rainbows sold at chain stores are often hybrids.

This was not found in a chain store. As I stated it was at a mom & pop LFS.

That still doesn't rule out it being a hybrid. Best option would be to call them and ask what it is. Or you could go through the list on the right side of the link I gave you and try to ID it.
