Rainbowfish

I love this pic of my Australian Rainbowfish and "Plec-y" the Pleco. I hope you do too!

Fantastic picture Chrisseh, I love the way you've caught one of the rainbows in mid turn! :)

Thank you. I wish I had cleaned the glass before I took the picture, but that's okay. :)

Great picture!

Is that a swordtail near the bottom of that flowerpot?

It is! I failed at taking care of my swordtails and she was the only one left. I put her with the rainbows and she started schooling with them. They have accepted her and she hardly knows that she isn't one of them.

I hear you about the swordtails. I've been attempting to keep a trio of them in my 29g community since early summer with no success. They're supposed to be hardy fish, but mine would drop dead after months in the tank with no apparent injuries or illness. I think I'm just going to get some tetras or rasboras instead.

I went through so much heart ache over the swordtails. My current dream is to have a 125G, or there abouts, with a few schools of the small tetras. I think it would be so pretty. I want to have neons, black neons, and glowlight for sure. It's just a dream though, until we buy our own house.
