Thanx for stopping by Blue.

Actually, I got into Guppies because I wanted feeders for my Koi. I had 6, one died, and three were given away to a neighbor with a pond. They got so big, so fast from feeding on Guppies, I ran out of room in the 80 gallon tank, which, was used as a Vivarium. Once I got the 140 gallon tank, i moved the remaining two over to it. The pair (Male/Female) are 2.75 and 3.25 feet long in only three years!

I moved the puffer over to the guppie/hospital tank after it started nipping the tails off my Comets and Koi. Little S.O.B. !!! I swear it was on its way to the Fish Store when I discovered it liked to eat guppies... ...then suddenly, I sort of bonded with the hateful little thing.

If I could only rid myself of the Fire-mouthed Cichlids I have, I'd move my Freshwater Dolphin from the 80 gallon to the 140 gallon. I'd like to take some pictures of it playing with my hand. It loves to be petted! It playfully nibbles on my fingertips, and when I cup my hand under water, it will come and sit in it wiggling all the while...

Word of advice to those who get fire-mouths, if they breed and none of the other fish will eat the fry, catch them, and freeze them. They breed like cockroaches and make your community tank a living nightmare!

Oh, go on, CJ.
You can survive without your firemouths hobbling in your tank.

That little voice that keeps saying "Flush 'em, flush 'em, flush 'em."

They are so quick, if only I could "Catch 'em, catch 'em, catch 'em, catch 'em..."

CJ! You can't just flush them!
I'd throw them to the lfs tank.

Thanx for the photography comments.

I had to do some post work in Photoshop because of lighting issues, and I just can't seem to get the buggers to hold still.

I have a faster camera coming on Tuesday. A Canon Powershot S3 IS 6Mp. Maybe I won't need to do so much post work for aquariums now?
