Cool pics of my dwarf puffers!

I just found these pictures of my little guys. These pictures were documenting the new found friendship of another puff in the tank.

Itty (the bigger one) was my first DP. He lived alone for a few weeks. When he seemed bored, I went out and bought Bitty. They are the best of friends. My BF wasn't happy with just 2, so now we have 3. Itty and Bitty changed to Itsy and Bitsy; the third mini puff's name is Witsy. I should have pictures of all of them soon. I'm going to try to find the pictures of their tank as well.

it's black sand..

the kind that comes prewet. They say it has beneficial bacteria in it, which I actually believe. I set this tank up using 5 gallons of a preexisting tank's water, some established gravel and sand. Even though I knew it would be super risky, I tossed in my little DP along with some plants, since he probably wouldn't have made it through the night in the other tank he was in. I paid attention to all the readings, and viola! He's big and healthy.

They're all fat little things. Their favorite thing to eat (other than ALL the snails -- even the big ones) are blood worms. They get such fat little bellies when they eat worms.

I'm trying to find whole tank pics to post. I can't seem to find them..

here's their tank after a nice cleaning, moving around of 'furniture' and removing of the dead snails.. the ones that you think are too big for these little guys.. aren't. They kill them, eat as much as they can, then leave them to rot. We had a nice little ammonia spike before I realized what was happening.

I just adore these little fish & would love to see more pics - beautiful tank you've got for them.

There are so many fish I would like to keep now, started out just wanting to get angels - after messing up and buying the wrong size tank to keep them -opps! but I'm certain I'll have a tank devoted to these fish one day.
