I wish bala sharks would stay small. I love mine but they are getting HUGE!! I have them in a 55 gallon right now and in about 5 months they will have to go back to the store!

just upgrade....then you get to set up a bigger tank and keep your balas...sounds like a win win to me

I had to upgrade for my balas, became to attached to let them go.
They are some funny fish! I hang up some zucchini for them a few times a week. When they are eating their zucchini, it sounds like someone is knocking on the door, with the loud clicking noises their mouths make.

oh yeah they click like no other. they'll do it with anything that they have to go to the surface to eat

Do all fully mature red tail sharks get that splotchy color? Looks like a shubunkin goldfish...

Proud owner of: 45g hexagon w/angels,red tail black shark,3 white clouds,2 white skirts and 1 glow light tetra. 2 bettas and two african clawed frogs. 1 spoiled dog,2 pampered kitties. One large male iguana and 3 lop ear bunnies. 2 red ear sliders.
