I've messed with it for a few days and this is what I have. I wanted some color so I put a few saltwater things in that I've had for years to see if I liked the turquoise or red. I like the red, it seemed more natural. (They will come out I just wanted to get an idea) Something seems off with the back plants, it doesn't look right to me. What would you do different or add? I'd like to put a big piece of driftwood in there but haven't found the right one yet. Or rather, I haven't found one that mixes with my budget LOL! Open for any suggestions/advice/criticism.
Thank You! It was suggested in another forum to add some medium height plants so it isn't BAM from small to large. I think I will move the small ones forward a bit and then put more in the middle as suggested. Driftwood and a cave of some kind will hopefully round it off so I can take the saltwater rock thingy out. And in the future, live plants if all goes well!
The thingy in the center? It's fake, we got it years ago for our saltwater. For now it's just providing them some hiding space. Better (and more natural) is to come...
I wasn't aiming for a "girly tank" and in fact I'm not sure what that means. I'm guessing it doesn't look messy, unorganized or rough enough AKA "manly" ?
