Barb awesome pics there. Love the pics of the Corys playing follow the leader. My Salt and Pepper Cory do that. Love just Corys they are just awesome fish. Great looking tank btw. Thanks for Sharing Barb!
Thanks I agree cories are definitely awesome fish. There have been a few times that I have seen one or two of them swimming with the Robert's tetras. Of course they seem to do so when I don't have the camera or the phone on hand to capture it. Definitely will be eventually increasing the group of them. Want to let the tank have some time to settle and need to work some more hours. Posted via Mobile Device
Thank you, definitely took some time to be ready to place my order for my plants, but my goal was to be able to do a silent cycle. Definitely was worth the wait to do so.
Over the past 3 weeks I have had good growth on my plants. Also added a small school of rummy nose tetras. I have my angelfish that will be arriving on Tuesday from a breeder in Florida. Here is a link to a video that I did earlier today of the tank 72 gallon planted tank update video - YouTube Posted via Mobile Device
Thanks, it has been filing in nicely. Still thinking about trying some jungle val in the back left corner. Only issue is that I am dosing excel in the tank, although I have read that people have had success by slowly acclimating vals to excel in the tank. So might give it a try. My ludwigia cuba has really taken off in the tank though. Posted via Mobile Device
I have heard the same where ppl were able to use it with Jungle Vals but I dunno.
I have read where they would skip the big dosage after a water change and just do a normal daily dose and it working.
Right now I don't do the big dosage after the water change, and I am actually under dosing by a little right now, instead of the 7ml that is recommended I use 5ml which seems to be enough to keep everything in balance. No algae problems so far. Posted via Mobile Device
