Our new Betta "Simon"

I posted these on a thread I had started about my new aquarium so hopefully it's ok to post them here as well. This is Simon. We just got him today. I suppose he's a 'rescue' although I don't generally support LPS that don't take care of their animals. Today I was at my wit's end and had promised my daughter we'd bring home a fish today. Anyway, I think he's gorgeous and he seems sooo happy. no more cup for Simon!

Subject: Larry LaPrise dead at 93

With all the sadness and trauma going on in the world at the moment, it is worth reflecting on the death of a very important person, which almost went unnoticed last week.

Larry LaPrise, the man that wrote "The Hokey Pokey" died peacefully at the age of 93. The most traumatic part for his family was getting him into the coffin. They put his left leg in. And then the trouble started.

Very pretty boy. I love those blues when the light catches them.

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.

Kindest Regards,

Keeping fish its not a hobby it is a passion!

55 gallon, 44 gallon, one 20 gallon tank, three 10 gallon tanks, and a 2.5 gallon all with real plants.

I have MTS and there is no cure.

He's beautiful! I had one very similar, but unfortunately he died young. :(

Ah, the serenity......nothing more relaxing or beautiful to look at than fish gliding around their tank......
