I'm ready to start ripping things out of my tank! Mr Pleco disappeared about an hour after I got him acclimated in the tank and haven't seen him since :-/ I like to keep tabs on everyone, and this is driving me crazy!

Scotch tape. LoL

I don't know of another way. Usually the tape doesn't leave a sticky film but if it does vinegar will take it off.

Will it? That's good to know! I don't feel as uneasy about it now lol. I have a hard time doing things to expensive items. Granted a tank isn't like a new car, but $200 is a lot for us I'm just finiky I guess!

I can understand!

I have used tape to hold on my backgrounds for all my tanks. When it comes time to take it off it usually will with ease. When I break the tank down to clean it if there is a film I just wipe it off with vinegar which is what I clean the tank with anyways.

Yeah that can happen. Some fish take longer than others to adjust to a new tank. My african knife hid for like 3 months.

DF is not helping, he keeps telling me the pleco is probably dead. I've been staring at the tank for over an hour looking at everything, using a mirror to see behind everything, and I still can't find him. I'm worried and sad, I hope he comes out of hiding soon and nothing has happened to him...

I also noticed my guppys tail fin is looking a little tattered today, so he's getting picked on I'm assuming my tetras are to blame, but our only other tank has female betas so I don't think that would be a better choice for him...

Do you have any decor he can get inside? He might be in there or under something you might not think he could.
