Hey...thats like DAY-SHA-VOO or whatever its called lol. It's weird because I was at LFS a couple days ago and I saw them using a turkey baster to feed the fish bloodworms. So I found one around the hose and melted the bloodworms in a dixie cup and just sucked them up and squirted them in. It worked really really good. And now my clown's have found a new hiding spot and wont come out! So, tomorrow I'm thinking about feeding them bloodworms again and I will just shoot some down there where they are.

55 Gallon:1 Baby Bristlienose,1 Swordtail, 1 Bala Shark, 2 Common Pleco, 2 Clown Loaches, 2 angel fish,3 (look a like) rasbora Tetra's, 4 Black Skirt Tetra's, 4 Long-finned Gold Zebra Danios, 4 Cardinal Jumbo Tetra's,6 Red Eye Tetra's, 7 neon tetra's
10 Gallon Nano Reef:1 Chocolate Starfish, many snails...Work is in progress...err

There is another way, Nick. Simply bury a cube of bloodworms under the gravel and the clowns will find them in no time. They weren't created with barbells for nothing.

Bri,
Well I was chatting with Blue last night and he saw my angel and I had told him in the past that he has fin rot and I need to treat it, but he doesnt seem to think it's fin rot. He think's its just from the nipping of the other angel and neons tend to nibble. So i'm just going to let it take's its course of healing. But, if it were fin rot I would be out getting the medicine called Melafix...I have heard good thing's about that so give it a try.

Here's a new tank shot with 4 new type of ' java fern' ( the lfs said they werent actual java fern but there in that family ) and just a couple other assorted plants. Should look nice with them grown in. Tell me what you think from this new tank shot from the previous.

Hi I love what you did with the tank but I have a few concerns.

you replaced all the gravel at once with new stuff? I am not shore but shod you have got a nitrate spike because you have taken out of biological source out of your tank. I am not totally shore but I think I am on to something.

I suggest that you either take your bala or add more, they are a schooling fish and need to be in groups of 3 MIN, and your angel as beautiful as it is will make fish food out of your tetras, and I would add one more clowns they need to be in groups of 3 because they will become aggressive.

But beautiful tank!

Pls be aware that balas will outgrow Nick's tank. One is enough. It's Nick's decision, of course.

bala sharks need to be in groups of 3, you can always get them changed if they are to big, that is what I am doing.
