Last weekend my daughter stripped one of our holding female Ngara flametails (she is getting really good at that!) and it turns out she was holding almost 30 fry. It is difficult to get a picture of such tiny little fry, but here is one I got shortly after feeding them, that is why there are flakes on the bottom of their tank. I do light daily cleanings to avoid that. Tracy
Stripping is where you get the female to spit her babies out, so she doesn't do it in the main tank. You take the female, hold her gently, and rock her back and forth in the water. Eventually she will spit the babies out, that way you can save them. A friend of mine fell in love with the dad, so I promised to save him some fry. I will post pictures of both of the parents in a minute. Tracy
