Talking Newest Project!

So my birthday has come early this year and I received my gift about 3 weeks early! Im so excited I have set it up and Im just waiting for my new substrate to arrive in the mail!

I'll post my progress on getting this tank setup over the next month or so! Heres what I have so far! I need to get a black poster board for the background still, but I just got it tonight. ;)

Im also going to upgrade the bulb in this tank to a plant bulb.

It is indeed a topfin 29g starter kit! It was on sale for 109$ you really cant beat that.

Heres some pictures of my new background, light and (some of) my substrate. I ordered 2 boxes of it, a 4lb and a 40lb. They were shipped at the same time but only my 4lb bag arrived today. :(

So here is sort of what it will look like, kinda looks like mud right now, but I cant wait to see it once its filled with water.

congrats on the new tank, look forward to seeing what you do with it..

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.

Got my driftwood.. though I may add 1 more small piece or a few rocks to the other side. Although I must say I kind of like the simplicity so far..

Also added my first few plants. I picked up a few anubias from petsmart...Im still trying to decide what plants to add before I do my large aquabid order. :D Heres a few shots.. the last 2 are with my phone so they are low quality..sorry!
