I'm planning on 6 danios (hopefully they all survive the cycle), 6 tetras (I'm thinking Lemon Tetra but can't make up my mind quite yet), and then some Panda Cory Cats on the bottom. I can't wait to get the thing cycled! I was really planning on the phantom tetras but I think with those and the Cory Cats I'd be lacking a lot of color. We'll see though.

You could do a fishless cycle and then you wouldn't need to include the danios in the final stocking plan if you didn't want to. If you want color you could go with neon tetras, bleeding heart tetras, or even some rasboras (not exactly tetras but close relatives).

I am loving the tank with the black background! Great job decorating :)

Thanks! The bleeding heart tetra was one of my first choices. I'm a bit worried about how large they get. I'd like to have at least six and I'm not sure if my 20g tall would suit them well. I just saw some harlequin rasboras today and really liked them! Now I don't know WHAT I'll get!
