How long have you had the fiddler crab for? Im just curious because I wanted to get one before, but it said they need salt in the water, so I stayed away.

they need brackish, just add a bit of aquarium salt into freshwater water. I have had it for aslong as this thread has been up. a week and a half maybe.

I have had a brackish water tank and they are lots of fun, never had a fiddler crab or ghost shrimp though. JHK30 did you catch my post about the driftwood for you pleco?

i didnt read through the entire thread yet but aquarium salt does not make your tank turn saltwater or brackish for that matter.
