Took the goldies out, dumped in a bag of new substrate over the sword, smushed down the anubias some, and took out a rock. Replaced goldies... :D

Thank You for sharing this wonderful tank!

Is it true that males get a "bubble" effect on there gill plates and females do not? How else do you tell there sexes?

They're so CUTE. I just want to huggle their little faces and pinch their cheeks! You're so lucky, they're absolutely the most adorable fish ever. Those plants are HUGE, I bet they're really enjoying them!

Thank you. I really enjoy the different looks they have. They are so full of personality. Like puppies with fins. Yes, males get "stars" on their gill plate. The only one who has them that I can see, is Moby, the blue Oranda. The other way to tell is look up their..ahem.. Weird as it sounds, boys have an "innie" and girls have an "outy".

Wow, the tank looked way more better than the first pics you made, the plants and sand really bring it together!

This is one of the best goldfish tanks I've seen ever. Hands down. I would love for mine to look like this. What lights are you using?
