lol thanks.
hmmmmm it's not a busted non return then is it ?
that happened to me one time.
well i hope that perhaps the co2 ers will be along to advise
as i don't know,sorry.

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.

Nope, its not a busted non return valve, its def. the diffusor, I detached it from the system and tried to blow into it, every other part works until i attach the diffursor.

Thanks though :)

i did one of these DIY c02 bottles myself awhile back, the pressure of the bottle blew the hose out one day and foamy yeast water was on everything, i didnt see it happen just saw the mess lol maybe i did something wrong but i avoided c02 all together ever since and my plants are doing great.

It took me a while, 2 days, but I've finally got my first ever DIY project going :) I redid the sealent but It wouldn't start working, so I was like ???

Then i squeezed the bottle really hard and voila it started working xD

Do not ask me how that helped as I really don't know o_O

If you're worried about a blowout you can always purchase a small rubbermaid container with a snap on lid. Put your CO2 generators in there, drill a decent sized hole in it to run the line out and relieve pressure if you do have a blow out then put on the lid. If the generator ever does blow the container will contain it.

Hello, but just because someone brought up plants and 10 gallons, how could I possibly get my hands on one or 2 of each? I've been wanting to expand my guppy breeding inventory.
