thanks
i really enjoy them and they're individual personalities, they've grown quite a bit and will only continue to do so. but i think when these fish swim to the big pond in the sky, im going to try tropicals again.

wow !!
they look fantastic, and the tank is awsome. :)

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.

That is, by far and away, the cleanest water I've ever seen in a goldie tank. Nice tank, nice fish!

I love your goldies! I especially like the new twins, their colors are really cute. Wow, you're girl really has grown! What size do those type of goldfish get?

20 gallon long: 3 adult Neolamprologus similis + about 11 fry of various ages; low light planted tank
20 gallon long:2 freshwater dwarf puffers (Puff Puff and Poofer); medium-light planted tank
10 gallon: 1 male betta named Wormy; low light planted tank
10 gallon: 1 male betta named Dante; low light planted tank
2, 5.5 gallon tanks that are currently empty (I see more fish on the horizon )

thank you, it's a 55gal tank and has 660 gph filtration...they recommend that you have ten times your tank size in filtration so 55gal = 550gph

well long bodied single tailed goldfish can get to be over a foot long....fancy double tailed gold fish can get to be 8inches to a foot long or larger...but fancy's are also big girth wise(meaning they get quite round) and both produce a lot of waste with there limited digestive capabilities. so although goldfish are hardy, they need a lot of specialized care and water quality.
