New Firemouth

Hey guys,
I picked up a Firemouth the other day. He's in my QT tank for now. He'll be going into the new 55 once it's ready.

Very pretty fish.

Kindest Regards,
Amanda

Keeping fish its not a hobby it is a passion!

55 gallon, 44 gallon, one 20 gallon tank, three 10 gallon tanks, and a 2.5 gallon all with real plants.

I have MTS and there is no cure.

It's a female. I just discovered she laid eggs on the side of the rock she always hides behind.

Thats really awesome :) hopefully you'll have some baby firemouths soon :)
if you dont mind me asking, do you have a male in the tank too? Sorry if that seems rude but I'm unfamiliar with your tank occupants.

Best of luck with the incoming batch of fry :D

No, no male in the tank so no fry. The eggs had started to fungus so I scraped them off the rock. She wasn't too happy about that. lol
