New Betta Tank

I just set up a 5 gallon tank to house a betta. In a few weeks 2 mystery snails and some ghost shrimp will go in there. This is my first attempt at a planted tank so all suggestions are welcome and greatly appreciated.

What a lovely environment for the betta, lucky fish. The only thing missing is some floating plants. Nice work Lisa.

it is indeed very pretty, and i hope your new betta loves it.

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.

Nice little tank! I'm setting up a planted 5 gallon as well. =)

What's that plant in the corners?
