New Angelfish

I just went to visit my first angelfish hatchery on Friday. Wow, I was blown away. Fish tanks everywhere w/ complex (or at least it looked so) plumbing throughout the basement. I've never seen so many different strains of angelfish in one room. I was lucky because the guy lives only 15 minutes away from me. It was great fun and the owner tried to explain the various the genetic possibilities to me. It was too much for my brain to take in. Anyway, the 3 new ones that I got are the Koi, Double Dark and the Smokey.

Awesome fish! I'm jealous of the dark one in the middle picture. That's an amazing looking fish.

Thank you for the kind compliments of my new friends! I can't decide which I like the most. The koi is probably the most colorful of the bunch, but the dark ones have blue highlights in them, which make them interesting as well. I promise I'll take some pics tonight. I have to wait for it to get dark outside because I have a window in the room and it reflects terribly on the tank whenever I try to take pictures during the daytime...i'm not a good photographer!

As promised, here is a full view of the tank. Plants are finally starting to take root. I'm struggling a bit w/ the stem plants, but they're slowly starting to come along.
