New additions

My last experience with a betta was disastrous, due to the failure of the heater and subsequent stress of the fast temperature drop. Some sort of fungal infection overtook him the next day and he died. I got my money back for the faulty heater and deceased fish and that was that. But just today I got back on the horse, and I have a new betta living in my 10 gallon. He seems quite happy, here are some photos. He's unnamed as of yet.

I also came across some baby cories the other day. I thought my juvie albino was small until I saw these guys. The whole first day I was sitting in front of the tank, repeating: "They're so tiny." They are in my ten gallon in my room so I can keep an eye on them.
They were sold to me as spotted, but I'm almost certain they are peppered cories.

My flagtail catfish. He's officially unnamed, but I think I've already unofficially decided on Cook. This was taken a while back, but he's still a new addition to the family. He's residing in my 55 gallon, and I hope to get a few friends for him. He was the only one at the fish store.

Here's Louie, my lace catfish. He has a funny habit of sleeping face down in a crevice, and half of him ends up sticking straight up in the open.

Thanks everyone. The baby cories are about 3/4" at the moment, maybe smaller. I was wary about buying them so young, but they're healthy and active and hanging out with the older ones.
