Arrow New 30g with Barb stock

So here's the new 30g...

First pic is the set up March 20th and then all other pic's are from last night, plants have grown a lil but not too much yet. The Tigers and Cherrry's are still super small and look totally cute in my eyes - Not the Tiger on the very right side of the pictures (check the stripe part lol) I think he's the cutest bugger ever.

Sorry for the poor quality but both the Tigers and Cherry are wayyyyyy too fast for a good quality picture.

And yes that's the very tank I got talked into setting up in a way that you can view all 3 sides open and watch it from couch and hallway, pretty neat I have to say I like it now

Awesome, Natalie! I'm so glad you deicded to set it up that way! Your pennywort is insane. So how did you deal with the filter situation and hiding everything?

Pennyowrt...yea....first I started tossing a bunch in the bin each week from the 55g then I gave spoot I donno how much twice already, then also took some out for the 30g and yea needless to say spoot WILL get more next time I see him LOL

You can view the tank from 3 sides one side is sorta angled towards the wall so you can't really see it from there and that's where you see all the Vallis & Pennywort behind it are filter/ heater its not *all there* yet for my taste / what I wanna see but I'll get there with my plants to hide it.

Well it really looks great. I'm glad you went with that setup. Like I said in your other thread, it's something different than what you already have. Nice job girl!

Maxx sure LOVES the new idea of having doggie TV set up right by the couch for him to sit up there and watch them and "case" them like he does with the low sitting Betta tank - You'd think after allll these yrs of him & my fish tanks he'd eventually quit & realize what's behind these glass walls he can't get...but my boy ain't no quitter

hahaha Maxx is too cute. My cat is the same way. i'll put a bar stool up to the 55g and she'll jump up and sit on the bar stool and just watch. Sometimes she puts her paw out to try to touch them. I get a kick out of it everytime.

Very nice tank Natalie, I really need more pictures of planted tanks like this so I can learn from them. Love seeing your happy little dog watching Tv. lol You r Babs are adorable. How can such beautiful, innocent looking fish raise such cane in a tank? lol Sassy little Barbs.
