We have three of the pictured fish in our aquarium and can't remember what they are. Can anyone help?
They are the color of brand new pennies and have a dark spot near the tail on each side.
I have them too! Also called the Neon Rosy Barb and apparently they should be kept in groups of 5 or more. I recently had 2, one passed and the other was frantic in the tank for a week. I was advised of the need for 5, so I picked up 4 similar in size and it is really amazing to see them zippiing around my tank together, playing chase and follow the leader all 5 in row across the tank. Or again as a group they also love to swirl around in the output current of the filter. Enjoy!!
We only have three right now. Don't know if I can talk my hubbie into two more. The three seem pretty happy. I think we've pretty much maxed our tank out with all the barbs, catfish and tetras. It's only 30 gallons. It's a pretty lively tank!:-D
