When you crop the incorrect date off pictures then people get confused and think I didn't take them.
Anyway, since I was asked by Jakiebabie, here'a a bit of an update.
The tank currently houses 6 Boraras naevus and 9 Pangio cuneovirgata. One of the loachlings and one of the Boraras went MIA quite awhile ago and are assumed deceased. One of the Boraras is confirmed deceased. Oddly enough it died from (or at least had) swim bladder disease. Since I don't keep goldfish or Bettas (the fish most commonly affected by that) it was something new to me. Didn't even have time to try and treat. Saw it one night, came home from work and it was dead. Three fishy deaths are not even close to the norm for me. Therefore the QT fish are still in QT, but in reverse. I was protecting the QT fish from anything that might have been going on in the main tank. It's been a good couple of months though since that occurred so the QT fish are going to be put in sometime.
As for the QT fish, the Hengels are getting big. Big being really, really, really relative here. The Boraras in with the Hengels behave differently than those in the main tank. Completely the Hengels fault. In the main tank they wait for food to fall, while the ones in QT go after it as hard as they can. Hengels feed that way and I guess the Boraras thought it looked fun (or else got tired of being hungry). Will be a culture shock for the 6 I've had the longest.
The dwarf water lettuce has taken over the surface. I'm going to be cutting way back on it slowly. Since I've been doing that crypt growth has restarted. Most of the crypts on the left side melted away (can't melt C. pontederiifolia? HA I say! Fine it is sort of there yet, some of it). The green gecko wendtii is gone. The Mi Oya and green wendtii are slowly returning. After 4 months of submerged the Lagenandra thwaitesii is beginning to grow (I'm debating on started an emersed setup and it might go in there).
Oh and I have living snails! I don't add any ferts to the tank at all or even harden the water. This is one of my low maintenance tanks.
Probably missed some of the last couple months and may not update again any time soon, but was on the forum today so I figured why not.
