PRETTY PRETTY PRETTY!!!! *dances*

I love Frogbit, I think it's one of my favorite floaters because of those roots, too . . . and your nurii is STUNNING!!! I was so hoping you'd get mad hooked up - super glad that you did!!! :)

No melting, guys. . . lets just put that whole thing behind us and move forward. Focus on the positive. . .

The positive being this GORGEOUS tank before us! *3 cheers for BWG* Really looking sweet, man. Very happy to see it so. *dances* :)

Man you guys are night-owls!

Cory, we take tens of pictures, too! We only post the ones that come out good. You should see how many I delete after a photo session. But these last ones of yours look great!!! You can really see the individual plants! And even some of the itty bitty new growths on them! Let's hope your melt phase is passed!

I can't wait to see the fish in there! (If they decide to come out of their jungle of floaters lol).

You guys are nice enough that you would say it looked good regardless of whether it did or not. In fact you have! The lack of good pictures just annoys me, because it is looking really good right now and I can't show it off like I want to.

Boredomb, I think it's actually a push on the melting. I'm pretty good right now, but I did have some losses. Laughing about it though sure beats getting upset. You can't change what you can't change.

Izzy-Night time is the best time for sure. It's when all the interesting people come out, plus all the fish I love.

Chesherca-I'm ferkling with my own tank now.

Since I was planting last night and removed a couple of handfuls of floaters (I can see the floaters I moved in my 29, I know I moved them, but looking at this tank you couldn't tell) I decided to check and see if I had any problems with the parameters. They are all clean! Also no melting! Some of the crypts I got before these melted overnight. These aren't showing any signs of it yet. Finger crossed.

Not sure if you guys can see it well enough, but room for more crypts? Some has to reign me in when I get to that point, because I like collecting plants and can name about four different crypts I wanted before I saw how much nurii I got.

One other question...have I built a good enough loachy haven?

Night time is loach time!!! But some days work just kills me.

They actually are pretty quality pictures. You can clearly see the plants (clearly seeing the fish is another story lol). If you have a couple of bucks you should pick up a basic tripod. It really helps eliminate the shakes. Mine was just like $10 at walmart.

Enough crypts? Is there such thing? I kid I kid. Maybe you should give it another month or two and see how the current ones you have fill in. Now that the melting has slowed, you may get an explosion of crypt growth! TWO leaves a week lol!!

As for loachy heaven, I think that moss says it all! :)

I would have told you if it looked like crap. . . truly. It never has. You're too critical. We can work on your photography skillz if you really want to, but the ferrets will have to be put away

Ferkling if FUN - just don't move those crypts!!! I agree with Izzy, just let the ones you have settle in and grow before you add anything. With crypts, it's a good thing. I've had some take 3 monthsish (no melt) before they really started rocking again. . .

Suuuuuper happy everything is clean and clear. . . and yesh. Weather is nice. When do you want your loachlings? They will be super happy in there!

Next time I'm telling you guys to enable me some. I had wanted at least some petchii since there is nothing in the front left corner. Aside from the plants that melted completely, every other plant is shooting out new leaves. It should look good.

Jes-I am ready for them anytime. Anytime at all. They are going to look great in there I think. Glad you guys think they will enjoy. Now what to put with them? I got some ideas.

Do tell!! What other fishies do you want in there? Going to try for something a little more difficult like the sticklebacks?

Not sure how they would do with the loachlings since they require live food and seem to be shy. I was debating on which tank to put Hengels rasboras. Gave a bit of thought to Hara jerdoni too, but kind of like the idea of loaches, lots of loaches. Would they dig too much though?
