I love watching them. They are just getting to the adventurous stage and are wandering from the cave where they were spawned. It's difficult to count them because they are skittish, but I have counted as many as 10 that are about the size in the picture (about 2 cm). There are dozens the size of a pin head inside the one cave. I can't wait until they start growing. The interesting thing about these fish is that they each spawn helps to rear the ones that come after.

Those are great pics. And I agree with the cuteness factor :)

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.

Adorable! It is so awesome watching fry grow - just like human babies. (or any baby for that matter!)

I can't wait to see the cynotilapia afra fry I have on the way - have to feel for mum though! Being a mouth brooder - yikes!
