The brown is concrete, which I have cleaned more than half of it off so far. Strange how the good side hardly had any concrete on it.

I hope it works out. What a pain staking task all for a rock I am still kind of worried about the weight. Agent13 has set my mind at ease a little, but Im still a little weary. I have to go and buy some suction cups so I can lean it on the back glass. Dont want any scratches.

well willow I didnt anticipate that it might slip down. Maybe laying it down would be better.

i had some megga large lumps for slate in a tank once, that housed cichlids
and i worried so much about the slate being under mind that i lay it down too.
come to think back on that now it could have been a disaster .

well it will almost sit standing without any help.So I figured I could lean it on the back glass slightly and all would be good.

As far as the concrete my uncle says that if my ph is already at a 8.2 that the concrete shouldnt make it any higher and that it would help keep it stable. He had tanks for years and years(though he is a little old school). I will chip away as much as possible and if I am still worried I wont use it.

Took Sunday off of the rock lol. Had to watch football. So many things going on with the tanks this week.

1. The rock ( I am still determined to make it work )
2. My Neon Tetras seem to be dying off, 6 left out of 9 (soon to be 5)
3. Got my daughters tank light. So her 10 gallon is up and running.(which brings me to number4)
4. One of the daughters Ghost Shrimp has a ton of eggs under her belly. So she is in her tank alone as we wait for babies.
5. Waiting for a bunch of Ludwigia Repens to arrive (gotta love ebay)

Gotta thank everyone for all the help and support from this site.
Everyone has been awesome, THANK YOU.

P.S. The ROCK haha is...... 13 in tall, 9 in wide, 4 in thick
