willow, the hardest part is giving the glue time to set up. If you go to fast the stones try to slide off hahaha. What I did was... Do a section, let it sit for a few minutes to tack up, then do another. Other than the smell theres really nothing to it

You can try. Just have a backup plan in case it doesn't work. And just so you know, it can stop working at any time so just because it works for a few months doesn't mean that it will work forever.
willow and Chesh like this.

125 - BGK, chanchito cichlid, pictus cats, silver dollars, palmas bichir
125 - cichlids (severums, bolivian rams, chocolate), rainbows ( turquoise, red), loaches (angelicus, zebra, kuhli and horseface), plecos (BN, RL and clown), denison barbs, tiretrack eel, pearl gouramis, betta
90 - Congo tetras, african knife, upside down cats, spotted ctenopoma, kribensis, delhezzi bichir
2.5 - betta

I don't think it would be too difficult to customize something to hang on the rim of the tank, inside the tank.
