aw thanks thats my main project i love that tank the other one is not so good today though the platties got ick grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr... so up goes the temp and we start the fight...lol
awwwwww thank you ... as most of you have heard i had to re do the platy tank so i will try to get new pix up tonight if it clears up..... other wise a few days and once the crew is all back in the new home i will post new ones.... jump starting it off the guppy tank is making the work sooooooooo much faster
On the first tank, I would recommend a plain background paper. With that gravel, something as simple as a cut-up brown paper bag might do wonders with no expense. A backing in a dark gray or black would also work to bring out the fish colours, but try the bag and see.
you know i hadn't really thought about it but i changed my gravel out and it looks really nice now. i used a fine grain blue and took out some of the rocks and... well i will post pix in a day or two
