Nope! She's mine! Her names Arya. She's a double Rex. Rexes are the rats with sort of crinkly fur, but if you breed two rexes you get nakeds and double rexes. She's unusual, with a very light downy hair all over her, and her face is thicker fur, making her look like she's wearing a mask. =] most double rexes are patchy furred, losing and growing fur all the time. They have the curly Q whiskers of nekkids and rexes though.
And the cage is an outdoor cage I use when it's nice out and not too hot. There's no bottom, so they can eat and play in the grass through the bars. They love it!

@chesh, what do you have in your 29? Cause if I must say, 45 is better than 29! I've discovered big tanks, and it's the best!

Sorry! We've been out of power for a few days here. UG!!! Talk about nightmares. But yeah - what Phillip J. said! Working on a hard-water tank for the molly family, I have a male and female dalmatian molly and 3 of their fry. They don't really belong in my soft water tank. . . I'm thinking that I'll bump up the number of loaches, and get a nice school of tetra or rasbora to complete this tank, and call it done. :) The soon-to-be Molly tank . . . I'll add a few mollies of different coloration, and I'm not sure if I'll leave it at Mollies and ONLY mollies, or dump in some platy or swordtails and make a livebearer tank. For now, I think I'll stick with mollies. Though the snails will go there, also, as the harder water will be better for them.

I love rats, we used to keep a *normal* rat named Rose. She was sooooo SWEET!

My rats are my pride and joy..I have two girls and two boys. The two girls are nekkid and double Rex, my boys are Rex and dumbo. Their all related, the girls from the same litter, my Rex two weeks later and about a months later my other boy was born..
They are all do sweet, love their mommy, and have never ever bitten anyone..the boys are so cuddly and the girls are sweet, but energetic! The girls are also more probe to go pillow diving, and like to play under the blankets as the boys want to chill and get belly rubs and sit on our shoulders...
I recommend rats as pets to EVERYONE. They are so sweet, and easy to take care of..I'll never not have rats..=] I <3 em!

I've always wanted a rat or two, but I'd be afraid I'd get one that was skittish-- I want one I can hold.

If you get your rat from someone who breeds them or a trusted LPS, and at a young age, he/she won't be skittish. The best thing to do to gain trust is to give yummy things..pieces of pizza crust, pasta peices with no sauce..ratties cannot resist! I wouldn't recommend getting a rat from petsmart, since they don't socialize their rats...
If you want anymore advice/help, I'll be your man!
