Thumbs up my daughter's guppy tank.

just re-arranged my daughter's tank and am very pleased with the outcome! she is two and has been great to her fish! she loves watching them before bed so i am thinking about upgrading her to a 20 gallon at some point. she loves her some fishies i am hoping to get her a spongebob background to go with the tank, but having some what of a hard time finding one in the stores here so might have to order it.

thank you. my daughter loves spongebob. this is her first tank. it's only a 10 gallon and i have been thinking about upgrading her to a 20. that way i can do a little more with it and put the krusty krab in there. lol. i think it would be cute. it used to have a spongebob background but sadly that didn't last long. she got a little over excited and peeled it off. lol. but she is older now so i think she is ready for another. i am hoping to do an upgrade in about 2 months (hopefully) but i do have a question. if i use the same stuff from this tank, i.e gravel, decorations, fish, plants, heater, air stones and all that jazz..... will i need to recycle the new tank. or will there be enough bacteria to do the trick on the items currently in the tank. this tank has been running for oh....i would say about 8-10 months now. so it has been here a while.

Very cute! My 8 year old loves Spongebob too, and we also have a Spongebob theme in his 20 long.

~46g with angel fish, bn pleco, cherry barbs, lemon tetras, rainbowfish
~37g with guppies, otos, swordtails
~29g with platies, CPD's, female bettas, bn pleco, apple snails
~20long with 24k and silver mollies, glass catfish, apple snails
~14g with opaline gourami
~10g with male betta
~pond with adult and juvenile goldfish, and several frogs
