My biorb

I finally got this thing looking the way I like. I used river stones and silicon to glue them together to make the center piece. The rest is just silk flower and a small strip of background. I have 4 glo-fish in there now, and my orange platy who was for some reason was getting picked on in the 24 gallon. It is only 8 gallons so I really hoping the platy didn't overstock it. The water parameters are still good

Also I was wondering does anyone know what would cause the other fish to suddenly pick on this one platy? He/she has been in my community tank with two other platys, a dwarf gourami, and two skirted tetra's for about a year now. About a week ago I noticed she was being chased by all the fish in the tank, mostly the other platy's, but the tetras even took a whack at her when she would get near them. I moved her in with the glofish and she has been fine.

I dont' know , I have never had fry from any of the three platies. I always assumed the orange one was female as it is plumper and larger all together than the two others who are very slim.

If you've never had fry from your three platies, I'd say they are all male. Female platies carry sperm, so even if you didn't have any males, they would have had fry.

I'm actually relieved I haven't had any fry, and the orange Platy is doing great with the glo-fish. I upped water changes to 50% to be on the safe side, but the water levels are staying good.
