Just signed up, thought I'd give a rundown of my FW Tank.

Got it used. tank/stand/filter/heater/bubble wand. Knew what I wanted it to end up like, but things change over time. a LOT. lol

anyway... so I set it up with a nice piece of driftwood, and lots of plants. Had an Angel, a Pleco, and a small spotted catfish at first, thats it.

then added a small school of fan tail guppies (stayed at the top mostly)

Then I added this little guy:

and he completely mowed down every plant in the tank. every damn one.

and he did all that with only one claw

heres the sucker:

a rare shot of the catfish. probably the only time he was EVER out when the lights were on

some of my guppies:

ok... thats what it used to look like and contain. next post will have current pics and list of what all is in there.

So here is what is in there now (overstocked? or ok?)

1 electric blue crayfish
2 African dwarf frogs
2 Golden apple snails
2 fiddler crabs
1 Pleco
1 Iridescent shark (just babysitting him for a few weeks for a friend)
5 guppies
1 calico fantail
1 orange fantail
2 Red cap Orandas
1 Orange/white Oranda (who also has a "Hitler" mustache, so we named him Adolf)
1 calico shubunkin

Here are a few current pics (about to do a water change, its kinda cloudy/green right now)

hate the fake plants, but with the little blue lawn mower, cant keep anything in there other than the 2 moss balls.

Well, yes, I think it is overstocked. You might be able to manage it, though. I thought goldfish ate snails too so idk about that.

Either way, nice tanks! :) And I love adolf.
