This will just be a picture log of my 30 gallon from set up to fish. I just recently planted it, you will have to excuse my juvenille planting scheme, but its just my first swing at growing them so I did not put too much thought into placement

Just added the substrate.

Filled with water, background attached, and Heater and Filter in place.

Close up of my heater and filter, its an AquaClear 20-50, the heater is a Hydor Theo

Plants added, also new Flora-Glo Bulb (also found a better setting on my camera :p)

Full Tank.

Just a close up of the Anchorus in front of my filter/heater.

Thanks for looking, any comments are appreciated.

Just an update, I have gotten 4 platys. I will get pictures of them probally saturday. Hopefully by then I will have my new light fixture also so I can get my plants growing, they are doing all right, but look a little down. Also I took out the acorus, as it was not aqautic  . Also just added a few more rocks and put my java fern over where the acorus was.

Pictures again probally saturday. :)

All right! The long awaited lighting fixture is here. So I got that set up and snapped some more pictures. Its about time for an update! I found again another better setting from tinkering with the camera, also the lighting is quite different, so it looks like a lot has changed

The whole tank, with the fixture up top of course.

My babies, also you can see my plants, haha the tops of them look good, if only I could say the same about the lower ones.

From left to right, My male and a female mickey mouse, I love the blue shimmer they both have.

My male and one of my orange ones, haha my male has black fins so he always looks finless against my background  .

My darker orange female.

One of my favorite plants, however im not sure what it is, so any help would be appreciated :).

Well there you have it, it needs some miscellaneous things done to it, like I need to clean the intake tube and suck up some of the dead leaves that fell off because of the low light. Thanks for looking :D
