Re-did my 27g Bow front tank today. I have 3 Gourami and two rosy barbs. I plan on getting suction cups tomorrow and putting the bubble curtain along the back wall and sides. The biggest gourami is my blue male he loves the bubbles and to look at him self in that back right corner.

Thank you. That sounds like a great idea. unfortunately i lost one this morning. They both got sick, and it seemed like they had some sort of scale problems. I did a treatment of some melafix and that seemed to help one of them but the other keeled over this morning. I loved watching those two stick together. Schooling fish are awesome! I did how ever go and get two kissing gourami which are doing very well. I also got another i cant remember the full name something Faciatus. black stripped fish. Today he seems a bit sick :( He was laying on one of my plants when i got home tonight. I moved the plant a little and he slowly swam away. Im going to check the water levels and see if im off anywhere.

Nice tank. I would buy some black air tubing for your bubbler since your background is dark. Clear tubing would work also and put rocks to hold it down under the sand. I did this and the aqua color of the bubbler can not be seen also I put java fern in front of mine to hide the color of it.It would look so much better in the back.

It may have been stress.... Any schooling fish really need at least 5 others of their kind.
(groups of 6 minimum!)

Otherwise they are WAY too stressed, sometimes won't eat properly, and are very susceptable to disease.

Ok, got that done.
Beautiful tank. :)

Thanks for the comments guys :) That does make sense about the barb. Since then I have purchased 4 more so now i have 5 rosy barbs and they seem to love it in there. They are so spunky!

Here is a video.
