thanks for the replys, I got a video of me feeding my fire eel in my 55 and some pics of the other fish in there, should I make a new thread for that tank or post em on this one?

nice tank but i'd loose the pacu and make it a amazon iso tope tank complete with discus but thats just me :)

I cant man, I tried once already I have a local fish store that I took him too and they had him for too days, and if you guys are like me, If you find a store you like you usually find a reason to go by there every other day or even every day, and seeing him in there I had to get him back, they put him in with a bunch of parrot chiclids and a jack and oscars that were picking on him, it was sad

do you live south of the mason dixson line ever think about a pond? :) you could take a trip to south america and return him to the wild? haha i did that for a 75 year old lobster i won in a raffle one time haha i was delivering a boat to maine so it wasn't too out of my way lol

I'm glad you rescued your Pacu from the treatment he was receiving at the LFS. I've never had a pacu but I've read that they are "puppy" dog like as far as their personalities. I can understand why you don't feel you can part with him.

If you don't stand up for something you'll fall for anything...

yea he swims around one end of the tank and goes to the bottom whips his tail around and comes back to the the top, kind of like a dog wagging his tail

im pretty sure you said you have plans for a larger tank, so whats going to be the plans for the 180? the eel looks awesome!
