A rescued fish?

I worked in the pet industry on and off for ten years and that's where it began. It was common for someone to walk in with or call about a fish they could no longer care for. Many such fish were too big for the store, or the store didn't have a desire for them. A lot of the fish I have ever kept, I got this way. The others were referred directly to me from outside sources. I still have a good relationship with a few stores in town, and the ASPCA knows where I am if they need me. It has no formal channels yet, but that's what we are working toward.

At least when the zombie outbreak occurs, you'll have food for a bit.

Tanks: 40 gal FW setup, 10 gal Reef tank.

Old BC8 setup: http://www.fishforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=10744

My hero!!!!! Well fishs hero!!! Thats awesome :D I'm glad you care so much, and about fish too! When people say fish can't feel pain... I just want to punch them in the face. Lol sorry but thats just so... I won't get into it. But anyways. Thanks for caring!

And just before you laid dead weight upon its shores, I stung you in the face for that's the nature of my core.

really well done. it's mind boggling how you took a relatively small space and created spacious and comfortable homes for so many creatures. i don't envy all the work that must've gone into it, but what an amazing job and what an amazing family of critters.

fantastic set up,and well done to you for giving the
fish a safe home to live in.

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.

That whole room you have is amazing. That must have cost a lot of time and money, but that result is breathtaking. I am in envy.

It is like going to a real aquarium.

Whooa, awesome!

I went to the Sao Paulo aquarium in Brazil a few weeks ago, it's a "thematic aquarium" which focuses on Amazon fish. And really, this is just as good as their stuff! Sooo jealous!

Wow...That tank is freakin' awesome! I also liked the snakes, which I don't think anyone here would really care about as much as the fish, but, I have studied, in great depth, herpetology. So yeah, that 1500 gallon tank is just so coool!!! Those fish are really lucky! :D
