looks beautiful as always. the kordon bags finally arrived. i will send the shrimp out on the 14th if that is ok. if you are not going to be around the house, you may want to put a hold on the package down at the post office. i will have them in qt with no food for 3 days prior to sending them out. this will be my first time sending shrimp through the mail.so let us keep our fingers crossed. i have been reading about it quite a lot,so i know what to expect.but once it is in the hands of the usps, who knows what will happen. i will give you a pm on the day that they are sent. btw, love the orchid pic.

Angel pixs

Just some pixs of the angels, there about 4 months old now, still trying to like them. They are turning out to be pearl scale, I don't find it to be attractive.

it has warmed up here. how is the weather there?i have everything ready to go,so i am thinking mon or tues to send them out.

now i just have to catch the little buggers.perhaps i will make a bottle trap.

i will pm you when i send them, along with the tracking info.finally over my nasty chest cold.

i am going to send you the younger ones. they are supposed to adapt better than the large adults. many of them are still able to reproduce already though.

i do not know which tank you are going to keep them in.it may be best to feed them after lights out so your mollies or other fish do not take them out before they have a steady population.i know you have enough plants for them to hide.

let us hope that they survive the trip well. hopefully you had a chance to read the article i sent you on acclimation. let me know if you have any other questions on them or their care. they are pretty easy though.

Excuse me while I drool over your angel! :)
The bad thing about australia is that we don't have a great selection of fish - like your angel - are breeding quality angels... *sigh*

The kids are not kids anymore. A little over 6 months old and they have had there first spawn. It was a very large spawn, an it didn't last 24 hours, there in a community tank. They did a good job of keeping the other fish at bay, till the lights went out.. Now, I have to decide weather to keep them, or breed them...or let them go..

It's coming apart again..

Well, it's coming apart again... my algae problem has come back, and I have decided to dump the gravel and go with white sand.. I have done everything to control this carpet algae. It's not as bad, as it was...but it's a never ending battle.. even added a UV sterilizer..I'll keep ya posted..
