Looking good!

I suggest getting 1 or 2 more Tiger Barbs. They do really well in a group of 6+(Preferably more).

I'll definitely go back for more, I wanted to make sure it'd really help them out. The pack of them together looks too cool.
Plus, it gives me an excuse to go back to the fish store.

Been a while since I looked on here, I didn't realize how much they'd grown until I looked at the old pictures! Fun to see.
Updated pics:

Current fish count:
1 Oscar
1 Banded leporinus
8 Tiger barbs
1 Pictus cat
2 Red tails
2 Bala sharks
1 High fin spotted plecostamus
And I made some cool caves the fish dig, check my other thread for more info.

Any suggestions on what I could add to the tank? How do crabs get along with these guys?

PS My buddy gave me a good idea on how to ration how I spend money on fish. I've got a jar with all my coinage in it, I always just throw whatever I have in my pocket in it at the end of the day. It'd be a good fish allowance! [/img]

Yeah, he's still pretty young though.
And the pictus doesn't have the fungus, the picture made his eye look weird though.

Skeeter, I would be more than careful if I were you. Oscars can grow rather quickly. I would not be surprised if the following below disappear.

1 Banded leporinus
8 Tiger barbs
2 Red tails
2 Bala sharks

I'd recommend a total makeover of your current stocklist to clear up the future issues. Leporinus, oscar, balas and pleco should be replaced with smaller species. This is only my opinion, of courseand is not compulsory for you to follow however I would rather you follow it regardless if you wish to avoid issues.

Nice photos on the bright side.

Yeah, I'm planning to buy a new tank soon, one I can specialize for the Oscar. Problem is I got laid off last month and haven't been able to find a job yet... So I gotta wait until I have some money.
For now, the leporinus is about twice the size of the Oscar and the sharks are close to his size. Hopefully that'll give me enough time. Not having a job bites.
