So ..Kitten_Penang...Ive always had larger aquariums but never really bothered with plants..just simply because well,I'm sure my fish would rip them apart also I just cant seem to educate myself enough to feel comfortable to go ahead with them..however..

I'm at the point where I've finalized lighting,fertalizer and and substrate..liquid fertlizer ect

My only question is..I keep seeing people with those lil containers with some sort of sponge like thing and a ball in it? WHAT IS THAT? haha..

I know ..off topic.

EVERYONE's tank look awsome though!

the balls are called bio balls.it's for the bacteria to propagate and strive in the filter.the sponge is a mechanical filter.i love sponge they can trap the most small and fine particles in the water if you add some add clear to the tank but bryon said it would be better not to add some add clear to a tank that has fish..meaning great for getting rid of cloudiness in a fleshless tank during cycling

its 2 foot long, 1 foot deep and 1 foot high. its made by hagen and its 60 litres:) and its no problem :D

I like the fish u have in it!! Im getting a tropical fish tank for my 13th in a month, (80 by 30 by 40). Are the rams nice fish??
coz i might be getting some

danios
cherry barbs
honey gouramis
otto's
corys
kribensis or rams?!!

yes the rams are nice they come to see me when i look at the tank and swim around infront of the tank where i am and i love them :DDD
